I thought you'd never ask. Grin
Sorry, been busy these past few days so not been here. You didn't break anything while I was away did you?
O.K, the story so far:
Rainbow & I rode up to Stratford for the HotRod Drags at Avon Park. Didn't get there till 3.0.clock -overslept, totally disorganised, dropped in on Kris & Dorro at the shop etc. Passed loads of cool cars already going home as we arrived. The entrance gate was unmanned so we rode in for free, (15 quid each normally). Parked up next to big brother Steve's race tent. Went for a wander around the campsite. Immediately came across recovery truck with parts for sale strapped on the back. Truck was for sale too actually.
Fibreglass single skinned body shell for 1927 model T Ford "Turtle Deck", flat boot behind cab, very basic box section chassis rails, purpose made 5 core radiator & 'glass rad shell. Body was priced at 200 quid. Chassis at 100. Fetched my brother "Who Knows About These Things". He pronounced it "sound" so we haggled -well, HE haggled while I hopped from one foot to the other in exitement.
The lot 375 quid. A bargain. 100 quid deposit, jump on the bike & into Stratford to the cashpoint. Back to the campsite. Counting out money -"So you owe me another 175".
....Err, O.K. Pay him quick & get him to drop it off by my brother's encampment. So the lot for TWO 75!
Steve's taken it back to his workshop where I'm rather hoping it's half built by now. I know what I like but trikes & bikes are my thing. His is cars so I'm happy to bow to his superior knowledge. Waiting for him to write me a shopping list. Probably Sherpa van axles, (nice old fashioned looking beam front), with tall London black cab wheels with big chrome hub caps. A fellow Postie belongs to the Jaguar Owners' Club, so will see if he knows of a Daimler V8 motor. Satin black, Manky Monkey logo on the boot?

I may just sit in it in my garage making Vroom Vroom noises instead.
Here's one I made earlier. Should look something like this, but cooler.

i am so jealous, i have space for parking 2 cars on my drive without my trike we currently have three and we can squeeze four by having one across drive and one on rd in front of house, so the chances of convincing the missus to let me have a hotrod instead is hmmm a big fat zero LOL
