What the King or the standard one flc?

The king sportster or maybe a quick bob, due to my love of big cc jap stuff i find 30 ish mpg and 2 1/2 gallon tanks means i end up pushing them too much
how much fuel does the king hold?

We can flog you an unused, boxed QuickBob if you fancy one Mick. Standard Sportster tank now sold to Mr Lunatic.
The King Sportster holds 3 1/2 gallons, according to Dracken's own website.

Hiya Matty. 
I fully intended to get the rest of Taz's trike frame tacked together today, but as usual, it didn't quite happen. Working early shifts all the time, trudging the streets delivering mail for a living & doing an 80 mile a day commute means by the end of the week I'm absolutely pooped. On Saturdays we start earlier than the rest of the week so I'm up at 3.30am. Got home at lunchtime today, closed my eyes for 5 minutes -& woke up at 8.0.clock this evening. D'oh! Another day gone.
So all I've managed to achieve while Taz is away for the weekend at one of her horse events, is to re-work the top tube to take the King Sportster tank. Just had to shorten it down by about 4 inches & alter the angle slightly. Now squared up & tacked in place. I'm biased cos I just happen to like the shape of Sporty tanks, but I think it suits the trike much more than the QuickBob did. With the front mount tucked up under the top yoke, the front face of the tank sits level with the front of the engine rocker cover. The curving front brace helps to fill the void between headstock & tank. I've ground off the rear mounting tab & will make up a new one, maybe with a lug welded to the frame tube to help fill the slight difference in angles where the back of the tank joins the tube. Getting the rocker cover on & off to set the tappets is tight but manageable.

Had a bit of a play with the Corbin saddle we picked up at the Popham autojumble. Should work O.K
I'll work the uprights either side of the gearbox around the nose of the saddle so they blend in together, then run a curving tube around the back of the saddle with a small integral rack over the diff. The seat's blocked up to 20 inches off the deck, which seems to be the average on our trikes.

The front end's back on, just to check there's enough clearance to turn the bars. I may have to shift their mounting point on the top yoke a little further forward than planned to make sure, but shouldn't be a problem. The Sporty tank's as wide as the top of the big girder forks so looks in proportion &, being shorter than the QuickBob, means Taz won't have to stretch to reach the bars on full lock. No point building something she can't ride.

These big trailer light units have been hanging about since we sold Rainbow's unfinished GS850 trike project.

Not going to do anything too fancy with them, just mount them on the rear mudguards. They should look in proportion with the big rear wheels & will certainly make sure Taz stays safe out on the roads.

lovin those girder forks its got some realy chunky lines lovin it lovin it . well the kwaka is on the track today at cadwell and its runnin (all good news) we had some real problems with the adjustiable cams we were going to use so ended up running standard ones in the end saves alot of hassle (and time) im still trying to source a runnin reliant found one up here but the gent wants 750 for it and me thinks thats exspensive considering im only gunna chop it up ???am i wrong iv also aquired a honda nsr 125 (in bits) so gunna have some fun with that while i source some reilant stuff .still havnt got broadband sorted so ill check back as soon as i can .
