I was told at Kempton (on the 23rd) that Dave Nourish, of Weslake and later NRE (Nourish Racing Engines) fame, died on Monday 18th October, the cause of death being given as Covid.

“Classic Bike” magazine’s September 2013 issue did a (IMHO) great 6 page profile of the then 82 year old Dave entitled “King of the Eight-Valve Twin”.

Here are a couple of links sites marking his passing, as well as to the Manky Monkey Motors thread entitled “How much for a post 60’s British parallel twin bike engine?” which was started in 2013.
