I'm an Amazon Prime member. I pay £79 a year (22p a day) for the privilege and get:
- Next day free delivery on the majority of my purchases
- Get a newly released free book every month to read via Kindle or Kindle App
- Borrow 10 books/magazines per month for free - great selection of magazines
- Get access to Amazon Pantry so I can order all my household shopping at great prices and without any delivery cost (if you are a canny shopper)
- Have free access to loads of streamed TV progs, films and games (including all the Bosch, Mr Robot and the Preacher series - all originally made for Amazon) - this alone is worth the £79
- Access to Amazon music - loads of albums, singles, amazon playlists, artist radio stations including many lyrics so you can sing along and do it with the correct words
- If you live in certain areas you can have 2hr delivery - my Mum mentioned something to me that she would like, and 2 hours later it arrived at her door - she was chuffed
- And don't forget the many low price deals for Prime members
All brilliant and great value.
Okay, I'm not on commission but really think it's worth it anyway but currently if you already have Prime or join Prime you can:
- Join Amazon music unlimited for 99p for 4 months and play practically any song you can think of, many with lyrics
- Join Amazon Kindle unlimited for free for 3 months and have access to even more books/magazines for free.
I've gone for both extras and will cancel the day before they are due up.
Anyway, just thought I would let you know about Prime if you haven't got it and about these extra offers if you have. I know not all of the above is for everyone but for someone like me who loves to read and listen to music, this is a great deal on top of the normal Prime deal.
