Hi Chris. Hope the holiday went well. Any photos?
JJ  Smiley

P.S.
I have added the place Chris went in the title because some people thought I was just asking about his holiday in a place like Bognor or Skegness!  Roll Eyes

The event was the Nitro Revival

I think it is dependent, a bit, on the price of you camera. Since I first had a digital camera, it has always been a bridge type camera. First one I got back in 2004, a little Olympus. It took, for me at the time, good pictures. I progressed, with a "better" Olympus, that I found was not so good. Went back to the first camera, but a later model, this is the one I now use as a workshop camera. About 4 years ago, I decided to splash out on a new DSLR camera, and bought a Nikon, which I still have and took these pictures with it. In the big scheme of things this is not an expensive one, but when I look at pictures of these same cars taken by other people (American journos) with wiz bang expensive models, they seem not to have the same depth of colour as my pictures. Probably only to do with the settings or something similar.
So, as in life, buy the best you can afford and really do your homework before you buy.

So, on the Friday night a couple of cars were taken down to Cannery Row in Monterey, out side the Intercontinental Hotel and fired up.
