A lot of the subways here are muralled. We have lots of roundabouts, ("Donut City" in the days of CB radio), which often feature sculptures of some sort too. Makes the place more interesting.

It's nice that you post the pics you take on your travels. It's interesting and it's nice to see what other places are like or what ideas they have (like todays stones).  The flowers that were left to cheer people up always stick in my mind.  Smiley

we had a great subway, linked the city with the Hoe. It was mosaiced and told a history of Plymouth, loosely. The the powers who be, decided to fill it in and open the city up. Now its a windy desolate place except when the sun shines, so not that often.
