Was talking to a pal Peter I hadn’t seen for while today, and he told me about a motorcycle event I hadn’t heard of called "The Malle Mile” in which he competed at last and had a cracking time .

In brief, its a drop-the-flag drag-race, on grass (yes, grass), with a few bends thrown in for good measure, all pretty low-key and chilled by the seem of things with spectators behind straw bales, some riders in shirt sleeves, and not a hi-viz in sight!

There’s loads more going on and a wide variety of bikes too.
