Sadly, the blue one appeared to break down as I followed them into town & limped into this pub carpark. When I came past again later, the red one had gone, leaving a sizeable puddle of oil on the pavement, & the blue one was on it's one, presumably awaiting the AA.

It's good to go when I can find the time to get it tested etc, but, its the on going saga of "now its finished, what to do with it!" kind, as finding time to ride the bikes I have, rebuild the ones that need it, and fitting it all with the 1000&1 things that encroaches on your time, is a real problem, plus all that Tax/Insurance for the ones little used, well I'm sure you know what I mean. Still, its a nice problem to have, but usually, all too short a Summer to pack it all in. Since the shakedown tests at the end of last summer, I extensively modified the rear suspension, plus sundry other bits and bobs that needed doing, but the biggest headache in todays motoring conditions is the traditional lack of a reverse gear or drive, so I just might have to give that a serious lookin' 'at before I go too far. As you are probably aware, the pre-war Aero's with "V" twin engines, were not fitted with a reverse gear, and with much fewer cars about and wide open spaces, it wasn't so much of a problem, and unlike a Trike, you cannot paddle a 3 Wheeler, so, that's under consideration, and it will probably be an electrical reverse as space is at a premium on the drive line, hey ho, anyway, I might just put it on the road without one for this Summer and reconsider the situation in the close season, Regards, Morrag.
