The Ramsgate Sprint Revival had its first running in 2015 to celebrate the Sprints from the 1950's and 60's, and although I couldn't make it, those I know who did gave it grand reviews.

Such a shame..............
In years gone by there were may Speed events along seafronts (Southport/Blackpool, Weston Super Mare, Lewes, Ramsgate and of course Brighton to name but a few), with huge crowds attending.
Nowadays its only the Brighton Speed Trials that remains, fortunately its still full-on competitive event.
