This used to be a great weekend away, it fell into bad ways when the so called peace convoy was about in the late 80's, they done so much damage and drug abuse that they wrecked it completely. Battle of the beanfield was the final straw. However, it has been reborn, abeit in a smaller more friendly laid back way. Not a rock festival, its all sorts of "performing art" Very family orientated nowadays. A huge crowd attended this year, due to good weather I expect, here are a few piccies. Port Elliot estate is private and the owners gives up time and land willingly. Good on them.

End of the day. Lord Elliott must have been pleased with the turn out.

That looks great. Might try & get to that next year.
Good to know there's still a spirit of fun & enjoyment about when everything you hear in the news is so negative.

That looks such fun!  And sounds like a great excuse for a trip to Cornwall!

Had a google for it and I see it's now the 'Port Eliot Festival'.  Seems to be more literary than musical, not sure it would be my sort of thing.
