I was delivering the Mail yesterday & as I walked up to one house I could hear someone playing some very nice Bluegrass guitar. I knocked on the door & the music stopped.
That sounded great I said to the guy who answered.
His face lit up -Really? My wife hates it.
Pfft, what does she know.
Yeah! Thank you.
I walked on up the road & as I came back down the other side, he was stood at the front window, in full Rock God pose, belting out AC/DC at full volume, with loads of feedback -duh, duh, duh, duhduh!
He grinned at me & I punched the air in salute -Dude!
As I walked away around the corner I thought Y-e-a-h, your wife's not at home is she.  Cheesy

Always wished I'd learnt to play an instrument. Always fancied the Banjo. Play a mean air guitar in the welding bay Grin

Mr Loon & I were discussing that this afternoon at his workshop. His Dad plays drums in a band & has a banjo, but neither of them can play it. Very difficult instrument to master I'm told.

Huh Not sure what my trike has to do with their inability to play the Banjo.  Grin
I have a 'few' guitars and can't play, but they are good for dexterity exercise and annoying the missus.
Really fancy a six string banjo.

I had a guitar once - I was useless at learning to play it.

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be about the console 'game'.

I have a PS2 which I bought as a good way to play Blu Ray films. Knowing I had this my daughter gave me the guitar and drums plus the mikes for Guitar Hero. Well during the school half term I had my Son and my three Grandchildren to stay and boy did we have fun.

So unlike Andy's soloist, if you can't cut it I would thoroughly recommend the console version instead. The only downside is that yes, muggins here, has to now store all the equipment.
