been some progress today, thanks mostly to my son greg for the help, even got him on the spanners!!!

took a couple of hours, bit of swearing etc but we got there in the end.

this is what is left. seems really solid, need to make up some new brake and fuel lines.

It's practically finished -on the road next week!
So -for the stoopid among us, (yeah, me), this is a re-body. Totally legit? No BIVA required? VOSA inspection needed when it's finished? Or literally send the V5C back to DVLA to change the body type? Just to clarify for other readers.
