I had a message from Deadly Derek the diner truck owner this morning, to say he's organising a car show on Good Friday, (the 3rd of April), as  an alternative to Wheelsday, which is pre-book only for show cars this year.
He's still finalising the details & sorting out the necessary licences, but it'll be at Barton Stacey, between Basingstoke and Winchester just off the 303, (opposite Popham airfield, 6 miles west of Basingstoke). He says it's a good site, plenty of tarmac & £5 entry per person which includes entry into the raffle.
Derek's used to organising events & lays on some cracking parties at his sprawling rural home, so I'm sure he'll have things well in hand. More details as I get them.

Barton Stacey is not near popham Andy, well not really. It's between the A34/A303 junction and Andover.

O.K, it's 7 miles away, but is almost opposite it on the 303.

Think the show is likely to be on the old army base nearby. "Plenty of tarmac."

Not a lot of details on the FB page yet. Actually there is more on here, but I expect that will change soon.
