Unfortunately dismantled my tadpole trike project today Sad There will be some parts up for grabs shortly but gutted . My wrist is so shagged at the mo I'm not sure how long I'll be able to ride my current one foe so little point putting another together.  Get x-ray and blood results on Wednesday so I'll see what the future holds.

Jeez Kev, stop hogging all the illnesses! You've got way more than your fair share mate.
Really sorry to hear that -I was looking forward to seeing that one.

I've had too many projects for awhile but have soldiered on optimistically regardless. Ended up in hospital Xmas Day and Boxing day with multiple joint inflammations, couldn't walk and ina chair at one stage . I was  discharged with steroid treatment and since then have had another 3 days in hospital including the referral to Rheumatology . Currently looking at possible Rheumatoid Arthritis ,so really a continuation of my autoimmune issues.  There's one armed guy locally who rides a trike so all is not doom and gloom yet Wink Smiley

I was looking forward to it as well Andy :(Too many projects and limited time ,in so many ways ,meant something had to give.  Meanwhile the 'Austerity Rod' continues albeit slowly, just means I have a pile of spares for it including a spare engine Smiley

Yeah, there really is such a thing as too many projects.
As I said to you the other day, I'd planned to have all mine finished by the time I hit 50. I'm 53 in a couple of weeks & still got 2 builds on the go. Once they're done though that's it, no more. I just want to enjoy what I've got while I can.
Half the guys here have various limbs missing, (at one time we used to jokingly ask new forum members what bit was broken or missing we had so many), so don't despair Kev, there's ways around most disabilities on a trike.

Nope Mike, never do build ups on my stuff , I'm my own worst critic so don't need others input into how bad it is !  Basically it was Honda CX500 with a new frame ( bx and tube ) with about a 12" stretch in the length but position of front wheel meant almost stock wheelbase . Front end was sit up and beg transverse axle with split wishbones.  Was to have ( fixed) teardrop fenders running from front to very rear , very Art Deco in styling . Andy saw the basic layout when he visited.

Likewise I'll put up build pictures of my Austerity Rod after it's done and passed BIVA. I'm a bit ' pride comes before a fall' in my thinking I'm afraid. I stll love looking at others builds though! LOL
