Don't get too excited it's just an Iveco recovery truck. http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/aa378/marcjagman/recovery2_zps3e4739c6.jpg

It is, drives nice with a car on the back, taxed, tested, a snip at £1100, but the best thing about it is that it's not a rotten old transit.

I will be doing some recovery work if it comes along but mainly bought it to collect cars that I buy as I do a bit of buying and selling and it's better than her indoors complaining about having to drive our car back from a collection.

They are illegal now unless it's one of those low slung things that are about 8 feet wide.

Been doing a spot of minor work to the truck but had to stop due to an op on my back yesterday. Having a starting issue at the minute, relay is powering up but no feed to the fuel pump so it looks like I'll be wire hunting when I can move again in a few days.

Flipping heck, that was a good price. I thought it was a typo at first. It's a pity you live in Yorkshire as you would be very busy down south. Good luck with your wheeler dealing.

Been having a look on the Iveco owners forum (yes there is one) and apparently these have an issue with the electric fuel pump, they tend to stop working after about 13 months. Mine was replaced about 13 months ago, fortunately only costs about £30 for a new one. They also have a mechanical fuel pump.

So todat got my son to look underneath with the circuit tester and no power getting to the fuel pump, 10 minutes worth of pulling connectors apart and pushing them back together and it's running, best fix in the world, FREE.
