The longest line of toy cars consists of 9,235 vehicles and measures 723.6 m (2,374 ft 0.13 in) in length. It was created by Gemeinde Herzebrock-Clarholz (Germany) in Herzebrock-Clarholz, Germany, on 6 September 2013.

Along with the longest line of toy cars on show today were the Pride & Joy display of exotic cars.

Before we left Beaulieu one of the staff informed us the number of toy cars had reached 23,000 well over the last record of 9,235 , the line of cars travelled all round the inside of the museum and out through several doors and round the grounds of the estate, where the line of cars crossed a path staff were on hand to replace any cars that were dislodged from the line.

All funds collected today through raffles and rides in exotic cars were for the Charity Naomi House & Jacks Place Hospice.

I was given a sticker that says "I helped the Beaulieu World Record Challenge".   
I bought a bus and a car from Popham (50p each) and then donated them to Beaulieu to add to the line.  Here is my bus playing its part (not sure where my car went).

Love the toy car line idea. I wonder who had to clear them all up afterwards? And what will happen to them all?
