It'll be great to see you mate. I need your registration number, insurance company name & policy number please Stumps, tonight if possible, (got to give the organisers a list tomorrow). Same goes for anyone else that hasn't already given me their details please, (just road going show vehicles, not tow cars or part built projects).

Absolutely nothing organised for this this year. If anyone can help, we need a couple of frames to hold the MMMotors banners, (we used steel tubing last year, but it's ben cut up & used for something else since then). I can measure them up if anyone can make something.

Are we going to bother with the information boards for each vehicle? (half you lot don't bother filling them in). If so, then we need about 20 A4 sized plywood boards with wooden stakes attached to push into the ground in front of each vehicle. Also 20 A4 sheets of paper with the MMMotors logo printed on the top & basic details to be filled in -owner's name, vehicle type, engine type & size, any points of interest etc.

Hopefully Steve & Lesley will be bringing their race truck again, with it's awning &, most importantly, kettle. Anything else?

I can drop the banners round to your place if you like Dave. No car tomorrow cos it's being MOT'd, but can drop by on Thursday afternoon.

No idea Terry. It just keeps the council bods happy. The show's jointly organised by the Thornycroft preservation society & Basingstoke council -I think they just like to have some paperwork to look at. You joining us this year?

As you know from previous shows, they give us a bunch of vehicle passes, which we're supposed to show at the gate to get in. In practice, to date, we've never been asked for them, but as I've said earlier, there's a new guy in charge of the club display field this year, so it might be different.
I'm still dealing with the old organiser as he lives a few streets away from me, (I used to deliver his mail). I've told him I'll gather as many details as I can but that we never really know till the day who'll show up & we often have unfinished & therefore unregistered vehicles.
If you fancy coming, PM me your reg number, insurance company name & policy number please, (better to have it & you not show, than the other way round), then I'll pass on your mates' details if/when you get them.
