As you folks know I got the vintage hotrod bug after attending GOW at Prescott back in the summer, this came shortly after buying a pile of T part's from a very good mate, fate throwing it's hand in again I guess  Grin well the plan for the T pile was to fit a flathead 6 into it but the stude lump I got needed too much work for the time frame I have so I was at a stopping point.. I needed a motor that was period correct but didn't want to go early OHV V8 or flattie V8... at a recent car event I was talking to a mate about my love for unuaual engines and a guy pop's his head up and mentions he has a '39 Pontiac 3.7 ltr straight six flattie going begging in his workshop, taken from a driving car, complete and I got it for £150.. BUT it is HUGE so back to the drawing board goes I...
Well with the settling of Hayley's estate I have been left with a small amount of cash, not enough to make even a small dent in the mortgage so I decided bugger it I'm going to buy myself something special (and cheap!!) that will be a permanent reminder of my smashing missus... so I'm importing this from Kansas.. complete and unmolested......

it won't stay unmolested for long... the A running gear I got with my T part's are going to go onto this along with an model A motor and trans to give me a good usable slightly hotrodded T coupe, something i can drive safely to work during the summer and get out to enjoy vintage and rod shows at the weekend...

so what of the T running gear I hear you cry?Huh well as my racer/roadster now has no A running gear and no motor I plan to fit all the running gear from the Coupe into the roadster and make for a hot T to use for competition event's like GOW and Pendine and for small local runs around the countryside...

I'm sure there's plenty of people to store it, whether they want to give it back on the other hand! Grin

Hope you're going to pump the tyres up before you drive it Shaun. A rather dandy lookin' automobile. So are you going to tow the racing T behind the road going one?

Sweeeeet. They don't come much better than that. The patina is just right.
