I didn't know you were going today Dave. I too, also was there.
I'd planned to go to a hotrod show in Suffolk, but the heavy rain yesterday put me off, so I stayed local.
Gorgeous sunshine this morning -should've taken the Pop, but to be honest, I don't want to take it to shows looking so scruffy & half built. Don't think the classic crowd would've appreciated my take on Henry's finest.
Some nice machinery about. I've always loved the little Austin 7s, (I've got repro 7 seats in my Pop). Half a dozen of them there today. Also liked the early Jenson in gorgeous deep maroon, as well as the Moggy Minor van, (I used to own one). Sadly, the modern Nissan Figarro, painted lurid pink, seemed to have the biggest crowd of the general public around it, which just shows Joe Public has no idea what they're looking at!
A nice little show, blessed with warm sunshine. Hope they raised loads for the charity.
