Nice pics & a nice "period" backdrop. That bike's a big thing for such a tiny engine! I believe Chris Ireland, of Desperate Dan's fame, is a regular at this one. You a 50s fan Kev?

brought up on rock n roll so its just a nostalgia thing for me ,but we were up there taking grand daughter to a party so it seemed a good opportunity to take a few snaps usually it's heaving with rods bikes and trucks and rockabilly bands playing on the streets and it seems like a mini las vegas in the fifties if you,ve ever been to hemsby you'd know what i mean, but this time it very quiet the bike is tiny its just the angle that makes it look sizeable

Yes, you could easily think American motel, from the 1950s, with those vehicles parked by the chalets. JJ

the loss of butlins has had a massive effect on the area thats how we got to move here we got one of them holidays for fourpence in the sun took it in pontins at hemsby and the missus fell in love with the place# I did too cos pontins were holding a senior net ball competition and every morning the site was full of ladies running around in skimpy gym skirts and tight tops at 7o'clock I was going to complain to the management cos I was always awake at 5.30 and bored out of my head for an hour and half

Knew I'd seen the titchy bike before -here's another one at the Essex swapmeet back in the Spring, to give an idea of it's size.
