Thought it was about time that i contributed to the site Tongue

Have just finished building an 1800 Zetec engine to go in my Dutton Phaeton rebuild, the engine came from my son's mk 6 Escort, after he decided, to see if it would go around a sharp bend with his foot planted on the floor !! ..... it didn't
It has been stripped of all un-nessasary bits and rebuilt with all new shells etc, the sump is a phase three, wich I have modified by removing 40mm from the deoth and building up around the rear to give me a little more oil capacity. The throttle bodies are from a GSXR750 and have been modified to fit on a ST Focus manifold. Have fitted a pair of cams from a 2.0Lt zetec.
It will be powered by a V4 engine management system from M-Tech.

Cheers,    Paul.

Hi Paul -& welcome along to our World.  Wink
I'm no mechanic. I know what goes on inside an engine, but I'd rather trust my motors to those more mechanically minded than me. I recognise a thing of beauty when I see it though. That's lovely that is.  Grin
