Thanks for the advice people, but i am a philistine when it comes to technology in fact i am regarding most things.
I just gave up in the end and announced the fact to the family, then my 9 year old says what you trying to do, i told him, where upon he says OH! i can do that and he promptly did.
Now when that happens i relly do feel very old indeed.

My phone doesn't do email (well it might but I don't do phone email!) but it had a memory card in it so I put that in a card reader to put the pics on the computer. You might need an adaptor as the phone cards are tiny, I've got a special reader for tiny cards.

plug the phone into the computer. Left click on the start menu (bottom left side of screen), then left click computer. On the computer screen you will see icons for "C" drive, dvd player etc. the one that says removeable storage device or something along those lines, double left click on that and you are then into your phone. Click on pictures and est voila job done.

If it is a smartphone North see if it will run the photobucket app. It is one of those that is easier than using a computer. Once pics are in photobucket you can move them anywhere.
Alternatively if you have an iphone it should be duplicating pics via the cloud into a folder in your pictures

I dont think its a smart phone as such nabsim, and even if it is a little bit smart i certainly am not. Its an LG E400 i know that because i just looked on the box
. I am gradually working it out a little now. I use photobucket on here so will have to work out what to do. Its nothing flash the kids walk it but me i am a communication technology drop out. semaphore is complex to me.
