Not strictly "thread" orientated, but in the vein of early farm machinery, and something that will interest Spanners and Tbone, I have just watched episode 3 of BBC2's "Wartime Farm", and it featured the most lethal looking powered farm implement I have ever seen.An oil engine driven log saw, which consisted of a double handed jumbo saw, power driven by a "Bristol" engine, worth a watch on Iplayer just for that bit, Morrag
