That looks great, did you use a colour base coat with 2k clear coat over the top?

Careful, Lesley might take that literally, then you'd have to build another for yourself.  Cheesy
Nice paint.

yes it's a skoda colour, race blue with a 2k hs clear. i've no experiance with painting so it's just trial and error but i do have a good friend who is inspecting my work and giving me helpfull pointers !

yes the colour is nicer than i could have hoped BG i'm very pleased with it

ON the build was for Lesley ,it would be good if it were to be ready for a special ocassion. i'm hoping to get her on the road so we can potter about, her on the trike and me on the shadow (which is a shaftie  !! and might also go the way of the trike for me)

apparently the box out of the trike is scrap i got a new housing with the speedo drive and when the boy was fitting it he noticed a ball bearing lying in the bottom of the box so decided to investigate, turns out it was from the 3rd gear selector and the thrust block is damaged and he can't get the plunger out so the hunt is on for either a new thrust block ball spring and plunger or maybe another box.i'm well pi#*ed off as i thought i would be fitting it this weekend  Sad Roll Eyes

That's nice. Maybe it wouldn't fool anyone that it's real chrome, but I like the "softer" finish.
