Smiley Don't forget to check you can comfortably reach the bars on full lock -don't want to be flailing around trying to reach the throttle, or have the other end digging you in the belly.

started with the mounting of the dummy tank and the seat .getting the tank side's to fit the way we wanted
took far longer than you'd think but it was a case of measure twice cut once!

will post pictures of the mount's later but you get the idea

looking good Smiley

when i make up bars/footpegs, i sit on trike chassis and "assume the position" then chrissie measures the distance from hands to top yoke and also width between my hands. when you've established your measurements just step back and think/imagine how the metal, the bars, will be shaped to get from hands to top yoke.......then get on and make your own bars. finally, while my feet are in the riding position, chrissie marks the chassis where my footpegs need to be mounted Cheesy Smiley

keep up the good work Wink Cool

got the seat mount sorted today. It was a complete a#*e to bend this hoop drove us nuts for a while
then we marked it in 1" spaces so we could bend it equal amounts each side.

A little progress

this cross bar will serve a duel purpose,it will be the rear mount for the seat supports and the front mount for
the luggage rack/pillion seat.

A little progress

we welded a nut into the top of the hoop to secure the seat using the original mount. the seat is from a Harley which i bought
from the local dealer closing down sale.

hopefully the under seat area will make an electric's box

finished up the seat bracket and support tonight

front keep for the seat

http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t373/Eddie096/1C0A42CD-117D-43CB-9776-57602CD3F96D-6662-00000E8D9841C3ED.jpg
A little progress

then the support

A little progress

it's designed to pick up on the parts of the seat that would
have sat on the bike frame rails

then welded to the frame, this will also provide for the electric's box
and maybe battery location as well

Certainly didn't look that clean when I sent it to you!
I had one shot blasted & powder-coated once & re-fitted it, filled it with oil & watched it all pour out again. They'd shotblasted a pinhole through one corner but not noticed, then coated it.  Tongue
