In the good old Summer time

I was in Basingstoke, Hampshire all day today. There was a fierce East wind blowing, but the sky was blue & it was still pleasantly warm.
My missus, Tazet, was 40 miles up the road in Guildford, Surrey. Torrential rain & flash flooding. Amazing what a difference a few miles makes.
Kath, one of Taz's stable girls, was hosing down Molly the pony's legs with cold water because they were swollen, when the Heavens opened & the pair of them were absolutely drenched. Molly looks distinctly unimpressed.
Sorry, just made me smile.
