headstock has had to be removed half way through repositioning it as it was 2 inches to the right once done it will be central

Glad to see that you are still hammering away. Also nice to see more panel beaten sections (never been a fan of tread plate). It takes time but the end result is worth it. The pierced floor sections are a great idea.  |

kind of lost intrest in the trike as it just seemed to be one thing after another going wrong. so i walked away from it. after the last thing that was found being the headstock being well of center and cutting it off to reposition it i lost all hope in the project. Now is where it turns around i have just aquired a bmw k100rs frame and engine which i can use the back as a bolt on conversion so now its gonna be game on.

When I read your last post I assumed .2" (5mm). I take it you really did mean 2"  No wonder you lost interest. I know starting again can be difficult, but a new frame sounds the better way to go and should mean less hassle in the long run. Good luck with the new build DW |

this route changes the whole trike from a custom frame with swingarm to a bolt on conversion. just a bit confussed at what to do when it is complete as it used to be a dvla inspection at the local office. from what i understand the local offices have now gone so does that mean msva?  ?? |

sadly alot of things where found to be wrong with the trike after buying it. Also my health has got bad Dr's think i have fibromyalgia, but thanks to a very good old friend i can get this build done and on the road. Only think that will be differant is the front half still having the carriage on the back and still keeping with the original theme. DW |

just been on the phone to vosa and they now do the dvla inspection so i am a happy bunny. getting excited at the prospect of finally being able to complete the trike and have it on the road.

If its previously been msva'd, doesnt changing parts of the frame mean re doing the msva? If it hasnt been msva'd then will it need one after the changes?
Is the munster body going back?

it was made before msva and it is gonna be a bolt on conversion using the back of the trike i bought and a BMW k100 rs so it only needs a dvla inspection to change the BMW into trike class as it can be put back to bike at any time. and it will have the carrage back on.
