Motorbike ramp

Anyone give me any ideas how a complete mechanical biff like myself could make a ramp that is sturdy enough to load (and allow me to do it single handedly) my Gixxer into the back of a van should the need arise?

All EASY (and cheap) solutions gratefully received!!

cheapist was would be to borrow one lol , or use a scaffold plank

Firstly,How high is the floor of the van,Because this will be you restriction,
You could use two planks,Somewere between 4 and 5 feet long,place one plank on the back edge of the van to road,Place one end of the second plank, on the road and the other end half way up the first plank.
Therefor Allowing you to carry 2 short plank's instead of one long one,But more importantly,Cutting down the steepness of your clime up to the van.  Hope you can understand this.

Scaffold plank! We've got a fold in half bendy ramp which is alright but does tend to flex a lot and anything with too wide a rear wheel tries to fall off it.

Alternatively airbag the van and deck it out on the ground

Thanks people, was obviously over thinking it!!!!

Don't think the van hire people would be happy with me air bagging one of their vans when I rent it though Archie!!!!!

    If you get a chance try to have a look in the back of either an RAC or AA van, Im told they have some sort of sliding ramp/mechanism for getting bikes into the van.
