good idea bikergran, pulled a couple of connectors apart and a couple of the terminals where furry.

also found a broken wire on a bullet connector, hoping to sort that out if the rain and hail stones stops Roll Eyes

Found a wiring diagram on the world wide wotsit, looks like the side and head lights share a single earth wire.
It is possible for this to have a bad connection or be broken internally. To check simply run a temporary earth wire from any of the affected bulbs to a bit of bare metal (or bolt) on the frame.

think the starter has the same earth, the starter stopped working aswell,
just reconnected the broken wire and starter works again now and so do
the lights  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin.

looks like i am going to trikefest at littleport after all  Grin
