If the pipe`s off a two stroke it might overchoke the engine and have too much back pressure.

Bit slow seeing this but my reliant trike has an ali plate with the frame numbers stamped on it pop rivetted to the frame. It isn't a Q plate either was just done and registered in the dark ages methinks. I have had it nearly 4 years and previous owner had it over 10 and it had been a trike a while before he got it so birth date unknown I think it is more critical when fitting exhaust to a 2-stroke. I know one of mine looked brill (I thought anyway) with a pair of reverse cone mega's off one of my mates olf 4 stroke brit bikes. Problem was it deafened you when you started it up and really needed pedals fitting to try and set off, top end was about 30mph You can always un-rivet the end can and remove some of the baffles if it is too restrictive, well hopefully you can Is the original tank off an MZ?
