Phew that was some title to write  Smiley
I have had some caliper mounting brackets CNC plasma cut at work out of 6mm Stainless Steel. They come in 2 different stages of finish.
For £15 plus £4.50 postage you get them in raw ST ST without mounting holes but with the centre hole.
For £25 plus £4.50 postage you get them with holes and a grained finish.
