This is my new trike as I bought her.

BG's new trike

Bruce has sawn of the old front end and pretty well built a new frame - it's only tacked together atm and difficult to see in his crowded workshop but she's looking better already!

And now she has a name!  I was thinking that only Bruce could turn such an ugly duckling into a swan, so Ducky she is!

He's made her a bit shorter than I expected - seems to me the rear seat will be a bit 'up in the air' - I really wanted it in front of the engine, but I gave him a free hand so I can't complain!

Not sure how much of the engine will be visible but the real eyesore is that gurt big air cleaner - might have to do something about that!

There'll be a tank under the seat and and a battery box somewhere between my legs.  Gonna be a whole new way of travelling cos if there's no tank in front of me where will I put my tankbag with the map in the top?

yep, that's a big improvement, and you can get some nice pancake filters on ebay that would look a whole lot nicer

Well originally he said 5 weeks to do the job but the other day he said it'll be mostly done next week so - SOON!  I'm not letting myself get excited cos he always takes longer than he says - but it's always worth waiting for!

Brilliant offer Ska-man, but wouldn't that mean rejetting and stuff?  Still got to find someone to look after the engine side of things, Bruce's forte is just the building.

I don't want to take a freebie and then find I can't get it sorted?

the filter goes on the end of the carb intake,no rejetting required, just undo circlip/bolt and bracket holding current one on and replace with smaller k&n filter. trike looks better already
