Anyone remember SaddleBags?
He's the annoyingly clever CNC machinist from Basingstoke, who's building the Vauxhall Chevette auto trike. Chatted to him by text today. He's snowed under with work, so hasn't touched the trike build for months, even though it's sat in the corner of the workshop. As far as I know, the engineering company he sub contracts for has been bought out by Doug, a member of The Guzzlers car club in Basingstoke, Hants. Doug's into custom cars & bikes so I assume they'll be more willing to take on one-off custom work now. At the moment SaddleBags is woking on a pair of ally slab yokes that are a massive 3 inches thick! He's got enough work lined up to keep him busy for the next 6 months so don't bother bugging him for a set for your next project, but at some point in the future he'll probably be able to help you out.
Oh yeah, he passed his bike test yesterday so congratulations Mr SaddleBags if you read this. Tells me he plans to buy himself something like an old Z thou Kwacka to blat around on for the Summer.

Well done Scott, If you'd have got your finger out you could of had your trike finished then you wouldn't need a bike  Grin Wink
