Dave-Postie & I spotted this in the carpark of the NSRA swapmeet over the weekend.
What's going on here then? What twisted imagination conceived this?
Looks like an old mark 2 Jaguar, (think Inspector Morse's car), with the rear window fitted as a front screen & home-made soft top.

Rear doors have presumably been welded up. There's a huge bonnet scoop, but also side vents as well as grilles on the extended bootlid. Does that mean it's rear engined?
Imaginative, but very odd. Smiley

that could have turned out soooo coool, but i think the builder was in modify everything mode, apart from the screen which imo is horrid,if it was'nt all scoops and bonnet gubbins i think it would bee good,10-10 effort,2-10 taste,20-10 imagination/drug intake  Grin

The TV car was, of course, a road-going replica of the Jaguar XJ12C racers developed by Broadspeed for British Leyland between 1976-1978.

Dave-Postie & I spotted this in the carpark of the NSRA swapmeet over the weekend.

The whole car looks back to front!  Wonder if he races it?
