Like the morals one, I have stopped 3 times while in Jeep to change a tire for someone, two female and a bloke on a wet day in a hire car on Mortorway who looked so lost. Turned out he was English and reckoned in England he would have been on his own. I had work flourescent coat and gloves so pissing rain was no biggie to me. He reckons the Irish are the best people in the world  I have managed to change my own tire on rear of Jeep with a 3.5T trailer hitched to rear in under 10 minutes so am well used to it. Forgot the number of times I have had to change a trailer wheel while its been loaded up. I have a special jack and wheel brace which really speeds up process  |

When I had to do my 3.5 ton trailer wheel, I didn't have a jack so had to improvise with blocks of wood to get enough lift. I just reversed the good wheel, (twin axle) up ny makeshift ramp and bingo. There were some guys in a truck and I did ask them if they had a jack. They said yes but could not lend it to me just in case it broke, then promptly drove off. Good job I'm not a wimp and at least have some logic and resourcefulness otherwise I would have been there hours.
