As Nige said my trike was a non starter but a short push got it going. It hasn't been used for several weeks so it can be forgiven for having a bit of a flat battery.
The plan was to head out through Guilford and a long the A25 to Maidstone and then to Sittingbourne to the Chrome & Cruisers show that was being held at the Central Park Stadium in Sittingbourne.
We headed out and stopped for a stretch and a smoke the other side of Guilford. Simon's trike was running a bit rough at low speed so we decided to get on the M25 and do the rest of the journey on the motorway. Just as we got going again my speedo inner cable snapped, it had only lasted 1002 miles.
We met up with Mick who was on his stealth trike outside Sittingbourne and headed of to the show.
There was some confusion when we got there as there was no sign posts to say the show was on or where exactly it was, we went to where we thought it was and there was 20 or so bikes riding around a car park looking confused so we went to have a look up the road joined by a couple of Harley's. We found we were in the right place to start with and by the time we got back there one of the organisers was at the entrance directing people around the side of the building to where the show was being held.
We parked up between some bikes and a photographer from the Kent paper asked me if he could take some photos of me on me trike, of course I had to oblige him, apparently he never asked the others for their pictures, oh well

This wasn't a huge show maybe 12 trikes 40 or so bikes and quite a few hot rods and muscle cars. Some trade stands and a burger van.
I was speaking to one of the organisers and he was saying this was the first show they had done there and the local council would not allow them to put up signs, directions or anything that let you know the show was on, Maybe a lot of people couldn't find it.
In the end though it was a good show made even better when a man came up to me telling me I'd one best trike, although he said it was a choice between mine and nige's.

Simon had to carry my trophy home for me as he was the only one with a bag, he recons that the extra weight he was carrying was the cause of his head gasket blowing, I told him it will be the only time he gets to carry a trophy home.

It was a nice long run with the sun shining and we all made it back without the aid of the RAC.
