Howdo.

Doc (TP) said that I should introduce my self to the forum, So here I go I'm a bit of a bumpkin (not to be confused with bum boy) <-- hope this don't offend, I have been into bikes since I was quite young and took a constant interest in my grand dad's Triumph restoration projects (he has 5 he has built from scratch). I got my first bike in 2002, which was a Suzuki GS125ESR, which I loved; I had it for just over a year but sold it when I got my first car because it had carb problems. Since then I have acquired a 1984 Honda CD125TC Benley which had been off the road for 14 years and needed some work to get it back on the road which I endeavored to do. Passed my test in June 2007 and used the CD for about 7 months until I got bored with its lack of power and speed. Doc and I then started looking around for a new bike for me and I stumbled across a 1981 Suzuki GS250T and a 1980 GSX250 so I bought them both. They had both not been used for a few years and needed some work so I decided to get the GS running and pilfered parts from the GSX to do just that! I nicked the Wheels, Carbs, Air Filters (K&N's) and some of the electrical system. Got it MOT'd after the third attempt, taxed it and now take great pleasure in blatting around on it as much as I can!

Joined the forum to peruse for information, help and a laugh and maybe even pass on any help to others that I can.

Would also like to thank Doc for his help with bike problems that I have encountered and for introducing me to the Manky Monkey web site.

Cheers all, Zipwanger.
