Looks like you've managed to change your avatar now I really don't have much control over the forum -not just you lot, but the actual programme. It runs as a stand alone feature, linked to the main site, which is why the servers keep breaking the connection to it every time they do maintenance work. I plan to revamp the main site before the end of the year & get it properly running again, but the forum will probably stay more or less the same, (maybe a colour change), as changing to a new programme would involve everyone joining again & starting from scratch. It's 12 years old & on out of date software, but it works -most of the time -so I'll leave it well alone.

Yes I managed it..it's also time to revamp my iPad methinks but I certainly don't have £400 to spend on a new one and the forums fine until I want to post pics

600 x 600 Jpegs should work.

There are no issues posting...anything if you are using Microsoft's "Picture Manager" just select Picture, Compress and Web pages, bingo...............all done for you, Morrag
