I drove it up and down the drive today. I can see the end, its just out of reach. Still no joy with the rev counter, but hey ho, now then where is that list so I can cross off a bit and add a few more things  Grin Grin

Back at it, cycle wing front arches need brackets making, I’m planning. Seen so many arches broken on cars so trying to fine a solution without it becoming a tank

Update on the red rooster: nothing really, except it starts, goes up and down the drive, stops well. Having something haywire in the alternator, it starts fine, but only shows 11.9 volts, then settles at a nice 13.6. Then for some unknown reason climbs to 15 volts 😱. If I switch off and start again it settles down for a few minutes, then off it goes 15.1 volts. I’ve  a suspicion this could get expensive 🤪

If your alternator has the following part on the front then it is easily and cheaply fixed .
In most cases you can replace the voltage regulator in situ .
