20 year old 1100cc Punto hatchback.
"Fire Engine" model, (engine looks very like a Reliant but transverse, front wheel drive).
Low mileage. Very clean little car but has immobiliser problems so although it's a good runner, won't start.
FREE to anyone who can collect it from Basingstoke, Hampshire as soon as possible -seems a shame to scrap it if anyone can make use of it.
Trike project donor?

Yeah, it's a nice little engine.
Tried donating it to the local Fire Brigade, (they use them to practice on), but had no reply after contacting them on their website. Rang the scrapyard today & they'll come out in the next week or so to collect it. A neighbour, (very politely), asked me when I was going to move it from outside his house this afternoon. Gotta go.

But if it is taxed insured and tested you have every right to leave it parked on the road for as long as you need to, no one could force you to move a fully legal car from the street unless blocking an important access.

Perfectly legal, but I live in a narrow street with very limited parking & there's no point in upsetting the locals.
