ok,
i,v known about a semi,,derelict,, /long time store xs 650  for many years  tried to buy it many times without out any luck  well at a wake after a good friends funeral yesterday  the subject of  4 stroke bikes came up and the  xs was mentioned

well to cut a long story ,, short ,, its coming my way  but exact age and model isnt known as its been playyed with over the years and is on a q plate , it was well known at one point  as the  ,,black pig,,

so i would love as much information as possible  on  all the differant models  yrs,, etc

ps.. any cheap new or used spares would be very handy ,, i think it will need a few ,,lol,

The engine number should give you an idea of the year as they were supposed to match the frame number. If it doesn't, it's probably the engine number that you will need most anyway. Cheesy

Did it come from the Isle of Man Mike?
When I first moved in with Tazet at her cottage in Surrey, about 10 years ago, (jeez, was it really that long ago?!), there was an XS650 in the shed. It belonged to a friend who lived on the Island & had brought it over to Britain for Taz's ex boyfriend to sell for him. I'm sure they called it the Black Pig, cos it's the same name as my brother's drag car. Don't remember anything about it & didn't really get a good look at it before it went. Would be a small world if it was the same one.
I haven't got many spares for mine, cos I just pick up what I need to use -what are you looking for?
