i know the oil is ep90 as gearbox, i havnt paid much attention to the diff it seems spot on, so i was thinking i may aswell change the oil, how do i drain the awd stuff out, i see the square bolt mid way up on the back/lhs but i thought this would be the refill hole and level,

piece of hose and suck. or syphon it out with a syringe. or leave and just top up
didn't you have the shaft out and split the diff casing

ive had the shafts out a few times doing bearings then disc's, but the casing was oil tight so i thought better of p*****g it off

reliant never thought about draining it

its a tip it up job or split the diff ,,
i did once find one where the bottom stud came out and it was drilled through and oil came out,, but i think it was just a faulty drilling or casting,,,
thought it would be the "case"

of tipping up or splitting, might see if i can syphon tomorrow as i havnt had a gob full of oil for a while. failing that ile just check and top up

thanks for the info terry/mike
