Title: 1600 crossflow block +1600 pinto Post by: spanners on May 11, 2012, 01:14:35 PM hi, anybody interested in a ford 1600cc crossflow block completely stripped down for rebuild its a bit dirty but seems sound and the bore,s look ok ,, the pistons still have the old rings on them but are sticky id recommend re-ringing or maybe re-bore ,
crank looks ok still on standard bearings allthough i havnt had a micrometer on it (cant find mine) also got the cyl head and sump heads scruffy but would refurb.. and i,ve also got a scruffy 1600 pinto -=====scruffy unknown Title: Re: 1600 crossflow block +1600 pinto Post by: Manky Monkey on May 11, 2012, 10:42:07 PM Might be worth having a word with Chris, (Phunkie Hiboy), on Sunday Mike. He runs a Pinto in his roadster & talked to me about a crossflow for a future project just a few days ago.
