Cranleigh, near Guildford, Surrey Title: Re: Classic Car Show & Autojumble 15th Aug '10 Post by: Manky Monkey on August 15, 2010, 10:04:25 PM Taz & I have been going to the Cranleigh classic car show for a couple of years now. Cranleigh's a small town near Guildford in Surrey. You'd expect their local car show to produce, what, a couple of hundred cars maybe?
1600+ vehicles this year. It's actually a huge show with an amazing variety of machines. You never quite know what you're going to stumble across next. It really is a celebration of the British love of vintage cars of all types. Where do all these vehicles go for the rest of the year? Definitely one to go to next year if you get the chance. We hope to start re-loading the rest of the website, including the photo galleries, very soon & will add all the recent ones, including the Cranleigh show. In the meantime, here's a few snapshots to be going on with. Title: Re: Classic Car Show & Autojumble 15th Aug '10 Post by: Manky Monkey on August 15, 2010, 10:04:58 PM .

This Porsche roadster belongs to Andy, the bodywork genius who actually did the work on her car. Title: Re: Classic Car Show & Autojumble 15th Aug '10 Post by: Manky Monkey on August 15, 2010, 10:42:15 PM This was built by the guy who handles the final fitting of customer's cars.

RS200, Ford's group B effort from the mid 80's or possibly a replicar, I think banham's did one based on a Metro ? you'd have built a 6R4 surely ? Interesting gear selector on the trike, any more shots of the other end ? Title: Re: Classic Car Show & Autojumble 15th Aug '10 Post by: Manky Monkey on August 15, 2010, 11:07:02 PM Nope, still don't recognise it.
No close ups of the linkage I'm afraid, but it was this trike. Title: Re: Classic Car Show & Autojumble 15th Aug '10 Post by: afghanman on August 16, 2010, 05:23:17 PM That looks like it was a cracking day out, what is the pale blue drophead? looks like a singer ?

Not sure. The wheels look like Ford Pop. |
