Title: Cogs and teeth!!
Post by: Clive on April 22, 2010, 01:16:13 PM
Time for a 'resident thicky' question again!!! :D :D

How will increasing the number of teeth on the rear sprocket by two, and decreasing the number of teeth on a front sprocket by one affect performance?

Thanks in advance

Clive

Cheers for those answers, but I only need a generalisation. More acceleration, or higher speed, that sort of thing!

bigger back and smaller front, less speed more acceleration.
