Title: zed-thou mini project
Post by: SUMO on December 05, 2009, 11:47:38 AM
tinys shock adjuster smashed on his decent z1000 this week so ive ripped them off this one [seeing as he gave me the bike i thought it was only fair] its going to be strutted most likely anyways - going this low the wheels pretty damn close to the rear subframe.

before - i have all the rest of the bits in the garage, including dinted leaky tank and ripped seat and top end

2.5" out of the forks and 3" out of the rear. just thrown in some angleiron to makeshift a strut so it still rolls while i mess with it

may be a harris - did sound fruity before i took off the head - i think more down to the factits riddled with tin worm though. - need a new 4 into 1 collector to weld in i think - have you seen the bloody price of them!

might take it up half an inch but yep - its low. im thinking 80s illegal american street racing.

yea - see im being tight on this one - dont really want to spend much, best ive found so far is £60 for a 4 into 1 that i can weld in there. even thats a bit richer than i had planned...

rough assemblage - i like it - might get motor together and run it looking like this for the snow days this winter than paint it come the spring.

motors back together and it runs pretty good, need to make up a rear exhaust section and then get it legal. ratty hackety thing for the now then clean up at a later date.
