Been looking at the post /Guzzi gearbox/ Reliant engine.

Man, that bike is ugly :D :D

What you need is clever French engineering :o :o  circa 1929!

you going to find me one then Paul :-* :-* :-* I'm thinking more and more about my Reliant/ Ural pile of parts. I'm gonna have to do this one before I make that jump over the channel, don't think I'll be able to get that registered over there :'( :'( :'(

There are quite a few urals over here Shaun. May you could clad yours in tin and get away with it ::)

There are quite a few urals over here Shaun. May you could clad yours in tin and get away with it ::) 

I'm not planning on making mine  look like a Ural though Paul, more low and rigid  8) 8) 8)

The photo looks a bit ...clunky, but I like the smoothed out artist's impression. Very Dan Dare.  8)
