I get loads of junk advertising emails & don't bother reading most of them, but this one caught my eye today.
Hmm, Tazzie & I just happen to have 2 weeks holiday in October!

Imagine flying to India and on arrival being handed the keys to a fully insured British Classic Car

Imagine a 1000 mile adventure that found you driving high up in the mountains of southern India

Imagine travelling roads where few westerners visit.

Imagine sleeping in a maharaja’s palace

Imagine being woken by the roar of a tiger

Imagine having tea in an old British hill station

Imagine visiting the highest tea plantations in the world

Imagine all this on your first day

NOW JUST TWO PLACES LEFT – OCTOBER 2007

I know two people that have had similar holidays involving classic bikes.  One guy went to America and rode everywhere on a 1954 Harley.  When he came back to the UK, he trawled the internet, and had one shipped back from the USA and still rides it today.  Oddly enough he was down at Alton last wednesday, first time I'd seen him in years, he has a newer harley now, with a personalised numberplate saying Sam.

Also there is a young guy who works in the kitchens at Alton on a Wednesday, he and his dad went to India and toured the country on Royal Enfields.  He said it was the most amazing experience he'd ever had.

Certainly is going to be one giant step for man-ky kind.
With the TA assault course in Tazets back garden, he may need some training from flap too!
