Carburettor Flu!

I feel I should make this Forums members aware of what appears to be a severe bout of 'Carburettor Flu'that appears rampant in the For Sale ads. and which if left unattended could possibly end up as a pandemic, like Swine Flu.It would appear to normally afflict motorcycles and trikes which are for sale, and invariably 'A1', their owners description not mine! except for requiring,"minor attention to the carburettors", or alternatively,"carburettors need balancing", which I always thought was an affliction of the inner year, but there you go, what do I know.There are so many of this type of machine for sale now in all the usuall sites, that I have to assume that the threat is very real, and if you were to purchase such a machine might well infect the rest of your stock, so, "caveat emptor!".There must be many hard hearted motorcyclist, and I use that term advisedly! whose quest for profit encourages them to attempt to rid themselves of their trusted steeds when they become poorly! or is it more sinister than that and there's more ailments involved that are not being disclosed, surely not from a fellow rider!........ anyway I have to go now and find an attendant to do up my jacket, as it's one that fastens at the back,but you have been warned.........Morrag
