Apologies for being offline again yesterday -the price we pay for using a budget server I'm afraid.

We use ukhost4u.com  Here's their explanation:

Dear Customer,
We are experiencing an outbound DOS attack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack) from a server on our network.
We are trying to isolate the server responsible and shut it down asap.
Our apologies for the down time.

Didnt realise it was down as my broadband was suspended yesterday, cos the direct debit was stopped for some unknown reason by the bank.T'was a nightmare trying to get the Indian call centre to understand the probs(and also for me to understand them! Grin)
 Thanks Andy and Tania for keeping up the good work ,its really hugely appreciated by all.. Amazing how lost I was without internet yesterday!
